A local pages engine. It builds a matrix of service-area pages from one blueprint, scores each out of 100 against thin-content rules, and refuses to publish below the threshold. Real users, real support inbox, real bug reports on a Friday night. - Costwise (Cost guides and a calculator, Live): https://costwiseuk.co.uk. Independent UK cost guides and a calculator for loft conversions, driveways, extensions, boilers and solar. Built on the same argument this studio makes about pricing: publish the number, because the alternative wastes everybody's time. - Cartback (Shopify app, Shopify App Store). Abandoned cart recovery with honest nudges. No countdown timers that reset, no invented stock scarcity. Every recovered pound is attributed back to a real order, which turned out to be the hard part and the reason merchants trust the number. - SoloCRM (SaaS, retired, Shut down in 2025, users migrated, annual plans refunded). A CRM for one-person businesses. I built it, priced it, onboarded users and answered the support email for two years, then closed it, migrated everyone out and refunded the annual plans. Knowing when to stop is a skill client work never taught me. ## Client work Client sites are not listed publicly. That work was delivered as an employed developer at a studio in East Sussex, so it is the employer’s to publish, not mine. The sector pages describe what was built without naming anyone. What is listed below is my own work entirely. ## What Kestrel does not do Brand identity and logo design, copywriting beyond structure and editing, photography, paid advertising, native iOS/Android apps, and £399 starter sites. Referrals given without markup. ## Stated caveats - No testimonials are published yet. Kestrel is new; reviews under this name are still being collected. Nothing invented in the meantime. - Rankings and positions are never guaranteed. - llms.txt is offered on request but not sold as a ranking lever. Google has stated it does not use the format.
